Subprocessors
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These are the service providers that process personal information on behalf of Pounce. Each one receives only what it needs for the purpose shown. Facebook logins, saved passwords, notification secrets, and proxy credentials stay on your PC and are not sent to any of them. Our Privacy Policy explains the full picture.

Services that receive no personal information
Scrape.do and Decodo proxy our price lookups (TCGplayer prices, eBay sold prices, and vehicle identification). They receive search text only, such as a product name or a vehicle's year, make, model, and trim, and never information about you or your account.
Services the app contacts directly
The Pounce app connects to these services from your PC, not through Pounce Cloud. They see your IP address, or your proxy's IP address when you use one.
- Facebook: Marketplace searches and seller messages through the accounts you add, and listing images for alerts from Facebook's image servers. Facebook's own terms and policies apply.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim (nominatim.openstreetmap.org): converts your home location text, and sometimes a listing's location, to coordinates. It receives your IP address and the location text.
- ipinfo.io, get.geojs.io, and api.ipify.org: contacted through your own proxy when one is set, to check the proxy's exit IP address and timezone.
- GitHub (gist.githubusercontent.com and github.com): update checks and downloads. GitHub receives your IP address and the app's user agent.
Data sources that receive no personal data
Pounce Cloud looks up prices from these sources using product search text only. They receive no personal data from Pounce.
- eBay: sold listings for resale estimates.
- TCGplayer: market prices for Pokemon sealed products.
- Vehicle valuation data: reference values for vehicle searches.
Your own services
Alerts go to the Discord channels, Telegram chats, and Windows notifications you set up. Those channels, and any proxy provider you use, are your own services under your own accounts, not Pounce subprocessors. The app sends alerts to them directly from your PC.
